How to Attach a File to your Email

FIRST:  in your scanner / image software select   File  |  Save.    

REMEMBER the folder that you put it in, and the file name that you give it.

I suggest that you put it in   my documents  or exports    or something like that.

Using Outlook Express to attach a file to your email, first click New Mail, enclosed in red (see screenshot).

After clicking New Mail from the previous page, you will need to address your email by typing the email address in the To: field (see screenshot). Next put a title in the Subject: field (see screenshot). now, write your message as shown in the screenshot. After doing these things click Attach, enclosed in red in the screenshot.

You will need to know where the file that you want to attach to your email is located on your hard drive. This may require some searching but it is not that hard to locate. When you get to the folder where it has been saved, click it once, it will highlight (see screenshot) and simply click Attach and it will be attached to your email.

After clicking Attach from the previous page, you will see your attachment listed in the Attach: field. It is now ready to send to your recipient. Simply click Send and this will be done.
